Other than which items form a capsule wardrobe, my other most asked question is “Which socks am I supposed to wear with this outfit?!”

There is a clear generational divide between how us Gen X and Millenials choose to wear our socks in comparison to Gen Z’s, who’s sports socks are commonly worn pulled firmly up to mid calf, something that we just woudnt’t have ever dreamt of doing in our youth. This divide can often leave us confused as to whether to pull our socks up, hover them half way, or stick to our trusty invisible trainer socks at the risk of looking a little dated.
Gone are the days when socks are only there for practicality, they are now a purposeful and worthy accessory with the power to add texture, personality & pops of colour so we can bridge that awkward gap between our trousers and feet with pride.
