Welcome to this week's edition of my weekly Top Picks!
After focusing on jeans and denim co-ords so far this month, this week we are exploring other versatile denim wardrobe heroes that can be worn across the whole year and are particularly handy for light layering throughout the transitional months.
With the temperatures lifting slightly recently it really does get me in the mood for spring style, so here are a few ways to wear those essential pieces in a way that freshens up your February but will still work well with a warm coat and beanie if needed!
The Denim Jumpsuit
This jumpsuit looks so chic and will suit all body shapes, add a belt as suggested if you’d like to draw more attention to your waist, or leave it without for a cleaner look.
This kind of style can easily be worn with a fine polo neck underneath for added warmth and style with platform boots for a nod to the seventies. The reversible jacket creates a more relaxed look and screams spring. Pops of red through the accessories provide a nod to the colour trend that is still very prominent for 2024 and compliments the jacket.

The Denim Shirt
A denim shirt is a must have for all capsule wardrobes and can replace a jacket during the warmer months. Layering a fine knit under the denim shirt adds warmth and tucked into the trousers creates more shape around the waist and unfasten the buttons of the shirt to keep things super casual. An oversized bag in a splash of colour and a sporty trainer for those who are on the go completes the look.

A denim dress is a timeless piece and deserves a space in every woman’s wardrobe. There is a shape out there to suit everyone whether that be nipped in at the waist, oversized or mini. Try styling with western style boots and a touch of fringing for an effortlessly cool look.
